Cheaters

Tell Me Another Few Lies

Tell me you love me
Tell me you care
Tell me you want me
And that you'll be there
Tell me you need me
Then look in my eyes
And tell me another few lies

You say you're innocent
You say you're nice
You say you like me
Then act cold as ice
You say you're open
Then wear your disguise
And tell me another few lies

You act so hard-to-get
You play the tease
Act like you're hot
And then run like the breeze
Say that you're mine
And then flirt with the guys
And tell me another few lies

We Won't Mention Names

There's a guy out there who's real proud of his d**k
He's trying real hard not to give up this chick
But the way that he treats her makes everyone sick
And his name is...
...we won't mention names.

Oh, sure he's real subtle, like a truckload of brick
Chasing the females and acting real slick
And it's plain to see - who's he trying to trick?
And his name is...
...we won't mention names.

Look here he comes now, it's the wonder-hick
Talking his talk, and flicking his bic
Yup, he's insecure - that's what makes him tick.
And his name is...
...we won't mention names.

Apropos

What makes you think that it was about you?
If I wrote about honesty, caring, or wealth,
Would you still feel my poem applied to yourself?
If I wrote about sealing one's nose shut with glue,
Would you feel it compelled you to seal your nose too?
Why, when I write about cheating and lack,
Do you see something you feel's a personal attack?
What makes you think that it was about you?
Where did you see what you thought was a clue?
Unless all of the stories ARE true...
